What is WWHO?

Where is it? Who has it? And how much?

WWHO (pronounced hoo) is an upcoming sharing economy mobile app for Android and iPhone through which users can loan and lend items to one another. The final release of the app will include options for repeatedly renting one’s goods to others, and for finding goods from others.

For example, if a user were to throw a family party and they needed a few extra outdoor chairs, they could use the app to find another user willing to rent out their chairs for the day or weekend.

Our service aims to eliminate the inconvenience and wastefulness of purchasing an item at full retail value that will only be used temporarily, as well as to facilitate neighborly, person-to-person interactions.

WWHO Survey

WWHO are we?

Responsive image

It all started on a hot and dry day at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Akshay was adding a new part to his car with Press. While working on the engine, Akshay noticed he didn’t have the right tool to remove one of the parts. A simple two-hour project turned into eight and that’s when Akshay and Press thought: what if there was a community where people who have items that they would like to rent out can post and share instantaneously?

WWHO was a great idea, but it would only remain an idea until Akshay and Press made a skilled and driven team to turn the idea into an application. They soon shared the idea with Naf, and from there, the trio became known as the WWHO team. A group of like-minded young businessmen who wanted to create to improve and work to help others. Later on, the trio decided to invite Chris to the team to further develop the idea. None of the team members know what’s in store in the next few years but they plan to keep moving forward with hard work and dedication.
